สร้างจากเค้าโครงเรื่องจริง Wolf Creek บอกเล่าเรื่องราวอันน่าสะพรึงกลัวของนักเดินทางสามคนที่เดินทางอยู่ในดินแดน อันห่างไกลของออสเตรเลีย เมื่อรถของพวกเขาเสีย และรับการช่วยเหลือจากคนละแวกนั้นที่ชื่อว่า มิค เทย์เลอร์ (จอห์น จาร์แรต) ซึ่งอาสาจัดการซ่อมแซมรถให้ เหล่านักเดินทางทั้งหลายจึงเตรียมอาหารไว้เพื่อเป็นการตอบแทน ไม่มีใครรู้ว่าแท้จริงแล้วมิคคือตัวอันตราย เมื่อทุกคนตื่นขึ้นมาพบว่าตัวเองถูกกักอยู่ในที่ร้างแห่งนี้ และมิคไม่ได้มีเจตนาที่จะช่วยซ่อมรถให้พวกเขาแต่อย่างใด แต่เขาตั้งใจให้ทุกคนไม่มีวันได้ออกจากที่นั่นอีก…ตลอดไป
